Aeration & Seeding

Aeration and Seeding is the best thing you can do to improve the health and density of your lawn. It breaks up the compaction of the soil allowing roots, water, and oxygen to flow more freely in the soil, which allows deeper/healthier roots. Fall is the best time of the year to aerate and seed your lawn.

Aeration

Improves the density of your grass and builds a stronger healthier root system for existing grass. There are many benefits to aerating your lawn, it allows the grass to be more tolerant of heat stress and diseases.

Seeding

We use the top rated fescue blend in Missouri—Winning Colors Fescue seed. This is a blend of 3-4 types of fescue (it may change year to year based on testing) that is designed to tolerate heat stress, shade, and diseases. It is the cleanest seed on market, with no fillers or weed seeds that you would see in bags of seed sold at stores. The reason we use a blend of fescue seed, rather than one particular variety of fescue sush as Jaguar seed, is because having multiple varieties of fescue allows the turf to not be dominated by disease or heat stress when it does arrive. The different varieties of fescue is not recognizable to the eye in most cases.

Starter Fertilizer

A special blend of nutrients designed for new grass. Applied at the same time we aerate and seed your lawn, that way as soon as the grass is germinating the fertilizer is in the soil ready to be absorbed by the new plant.
